Nested Simulations / Tasks
The nested proposals listed below provide a way to describe complex simulation tasks by comprising them of smaller simulations.One example would be a parameter scan, where one often wants to run several simulations while changing a certain parameter. Other examples include the collection of stochastic traces and performing perturbation experiments among others.
Defining these simulation experiments through individual operations allows for an easier adoption of new simulation techniques, as compared to the definition and ratification of individual simulation classes.
